The entire premises are 55,000 squaremetres of size. The defence facilities comprise 13,000 squaremetres. The defence walls are 4 to 7 metres high and 420 metres long. There exists only one entrance to the prison Hoheneck Castle which is locked by big and heavy iron gates.
